Frequently Asked Questions

WHY DO YOU NEED A PUBLIC ADJUSTER TO REPRESENT YOU?

A Public Adjuster is an insurance claims adjuster who advocates for the policyholder and estimates and negotiates insurance claim settlements. Aside from attorneys and the insurance broker of record, Public Adjusters are the only type of claim adjuster who can legally represent the rights of an insured during the insurance claim process.

Your Insurance Company's Claim Adjuster does not represent you and in fact it is their responsibility to attempt to convince you to accept a reduced claim settlement. Conversely, a Public Adjuster is an advocate solely for you; the policyholder.

When you file an insurance claim, your Insurance Company will utilize the services of an experienced Claim Adjuster to meet with you in an attempt to negotiate a reduced claim settlement.  These Claim Adjusters may employ and utilize all of the following: General Contractors, Engineers, Accountants, Inventory Specialists, Fraud Investigators and Attorneys to investigate your claim in an attempt to deny coverage or reduce your claim settlement.

These Professionals are hired by your Insurance Company to negotiate against you and not for you! The very same company that owes you a fair settlement employs skilled "Insurance Experts" to investigate and calculate your loss on behalf of the Insurance Company.  This is an obvious conflict of interest!

As the policyholder, you are responsible for preparing your loss and damage claim. Doing so without the help of a Public Adjuster is like representing yourself in court without an attorney.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RETAINING A PUBLIC ADJUSTER TO REPRESENT YOU?

You will have the advantage of expert assistance and over 33 years of insurance industry insider experience.  I will relieve you of the time-consuming and difficult technical matters involved in preparing, presenting and negotiating your claim with the Insurance Company.  Most importantly, I will maximize your claim settlement!

I will not allow your claim to be unjustly denied or your claim settlement to be unreasonably reduced!

IF I HAVE ALREADY FILED A CLAIM AND SETTLED MY CLAIM, CAN I STILL HIRE A PUBLIC ADJUSTER?

Yes, it's not too late. I am often hired to resolve disputes after a claim is filed. However, it is in your best interest to hire a Public Adjuster as soon as possible.  Without understanding the insurance policy, you may act or say something that will give the Company Adjuster reason to deny or reduce your claim.

HOW ARE PUBLIC ADJUSTERS PAID?

Like all Public Adjusters, I work for a small percentage of your claim settlement and require no up-front fees. My fee is payable after your claim is settled and you are paid by your Insurance Company.  I have no doubt that my involvement will increase your claim settlement and my fee will be absorbed in your larger settlement.

IF THERE IS NO RECOVERY THERE IS NO FEE!
